So my friend, a Moslem Indonesian living in Fukuoka, Japan, together with his wife created this section on his blog. Written in combination of Bahasa Indonesia and Nihon-go. They just started this section, but as the time goes, I believe more entries will be added. You may want to check it out.

I myself am not a Moslem, but I am interested at cultural things (well, to me it is very close to cultural issue, or more precisely Islamic culture). And I am amazed at and really appreciate his effort, that I can hardly find in Indonesia and Singapore. Indonesia, being the country with the largest Moslem population, has been concerned in the Halal law, so many products available on the market are halal, and given Halal sign by the national Islamic council. Meanwhile, Singapore also has a large Moslem society, so I can say that it is not (that) hard to find Halal food there. Kudos to him! 😀
